Inflorescence 1-4 cm long, cylindrical, often loosely so; clusters straight or slightly gaping at the tip, consisting of 2 subequal and subopposite spikelets. Spikelets 2.5-4 mm long; upper glume 5-nerved, the prickles terete in their lower half and hooked at the tip. Fl. & Fr. Per.: most of the year. |
