Description : Annual, 15-30 cm tall, branches bristly, hairs yellow. Leaf rachis c. 3.5 mm long, leaflets 4, subsessile, 9-12 mm long, 4.5-9 mm broad, oblanceolate, cuneate, obtuse, apiculate, glabrous above, pubescent below; stipules prolonged below into auricles. Inflorescence a 2-8-flowered peduncled axillary cyme. Peduncle longer than the leaves. Pedicel very short. Calyx 3-3.5 mm long, pubescent, upper lip truncate or slightly emarginate, the lower 3-toothed. Corolla yellow, 6-7 mm long. Fruit 6-8-jointed, joints tuberculate. Fl.Per.: September-December (Cooke l.c.).
