Description | : | Plant 15-43 cm tall, erect. Stem usually branched. Leaves elliptic, lanceolate or linear-lanceolate, ± auriculate-cuneate at base, 3-40 mm log, 1-6 mm broad. Cymes 3(-15) flowered. Peduncle 1-4 mm long. Hypanthium 8-ribbed, ribs obscure in fruit. Epicalyx folds ± horn-like, minute or obscure. Sepals c. 0.5 mm long, usually reflexed in fruit. Petals minute, cuneate, obtuse. Style c. 1 mm long. Capsule slightly exceeding the hypanthium, 1-1.5 mm in diameter. Fl. Per.: September. |
