Description | : | Erect, annual herbs up to 50 cm tall. Leaves membranous, 3-7.5 x 1.5-3 cm, oblong, acute or acuminate, glabrous or nearly so, base tapering and decurrent into a petiole. Flowers in axillary and terminal, dichotomous cymes; bracts lanceolate-subulate. Corolla 5-lobed. Capsules wedge-shaped, veined, ca 0.4 cm long; seeds twice as long as broad, oblong, rounded at the ends, obscurely trigonous, pale, smooth and shining. |
