Leaves 15-25 cm long; leaflets 13 or 15, to 4 x 2 cm, oblong-elliptic, apex emarginate, slightly coriaceous; petiole to 2 cm; petiolule 3-5 mm, stipules small, deciduous. Panicles terminal and axillary, 5-15 cm long. Pod 8 x 2 cm, oblong-lanceolate, glabrous, stipitate, coriaceous. acute at both ends; seeds 1-3. A tall handsome deciduous tree with drooping branches. Leaves imparipinnate, 7.5-18 cm long; leaflets 2-3.8 cm long, elliptic or oblong, obtuse. Flowers small, in copious axillary and terminal panicles. Pods 3.8-5 cm long, thin flexible. Bark pale grey with greenish yellow tinge. Leaf compound, 17 leaflets. Flower lilac. Fruit thin, flat pod, tapering ends. |
