Description : Small trees with warty branchlets. Leaflets connate about half way, lobed, sometimes lobes overlapping, thin coriaceous, base subcordate, margin entire.Flowers in axillary or terminal recemes or paniculate. Calyx-tube apex 2-cleft. Petals rose to pink, obovate, narrow at base, obtuse. Stamens 3-5. Pods oblong, compressed, many seeded. Bark smooth and fibrous, Leaves deeply divided, similar to a cow's foot. Flowers pink, fragrant. Fruit a flat bean like,woody, coils after splitting open. Flowering: peak in September. Fruiting: Throughout the year
